well the dogs aren’t scared anymore but we had a strong storm come through and knock out our power three times. I hate Oklahoma…when I lived in Arizona the only thing you had to watch out for is monsoon season and it rarely stormed even then…then there’s the tornadoes we have to worry about too…sucks.

Is it true you guys are getting a bunch of earthquakes? And do you believe it is because of fracking?
Sorry it sucks. We have a bad storm right now. Although ct isn’t so bad the worst happening I can’t go for a hike.
@Futomimi Angie felt the ground shake but I didn’t feel it…it’s possible there’s tons of fracking in Oklahoma.
It is only serious if doors lighty rattle. It will sound like someone is trying to open a locked door thinking ot is just stuck.
If your exterior door pushes in an out just a couple of times then the air pressure is changing in your area.and keep a close eye out.
If it does it about 3 times in about 5 minutes then it is time to turn on the tv to find out what is going on. may also want to think about emergency plans if you and your family have one.
A shaking door and loud train like rumble is time to start putting people on the bottom story and away from windows. (Take cover as it touched down in your nieghborhood at that point)
Now that that is all said, in compairison to the number of population, few people are hit by them. They mostly touch down in unpopulated areas.
Chances of being hit by one are small.
