Yes, gloves, socks, shower caps, a wet suit, oven gloves. These all count.
I frequently wear a shower cap when I’m out about town, to finish off my look, so am well aware of how tempting it can be.
I admire your honesty in explaining how you managed to fail the test. But fail you did.

There might have been mitigating factors involved if you actually had a shower. But even then , you would have failed to plan correctly for the big event.
All the time, we were worried sick here, and you were gallivanting around in your shower cap. Laughing at us.
