Mythos by Stephen Fry

I was listening to Mythos by Stephen Fry on spotify audiobooks as you get 15 hours a month to listen to a book included in the premium.

Listening to the first chapter where it described the making of the universe was interesting, but these tall tales that they believed him were certainly of their time.

I mean what a load of bollocks!

It was interesting to see how much of the european language is still based on these titans, but still it makes me wonder how people 3800 years ago were just winging it and making stuff up.

Nothing has changed much, i know, but some bloke just like me sat there and told stories nearly 4000 years ago like I could do with no validation other than someone else told me this and voila, make a sacrifice.

To me all fable nonsense makes me laugh.

Have I told you the tale ofโ€ฆ

Stories teach us things that we need to learn from history, we learn from our mistakes, mistakes have been written down and confronted and a solution has been brought forward, we can then compare certain stories to our own situations to try and seek a solution.

Maybe certain stories are not of our time now but there is still a lot of credence we can take from these stories & possibly something more in which we could add in the future. what comes next i hear you ask? lol
