I am crying right now. the cops just pulled up next door…I tried to reach Charles on the phone today to see if he needed a ride and he didn’t answer…I wondered…well, I went and asked the related neighbors two houses down and they said he passed away…I am bawling.

thank you everyone…he was a stubborn, opinionated concert goer from way back…we’d talk about his concerts, and I would talk about mine. he was my friend. I’ve been listening to Kris Kristsofferson a lot tonight…calms me down and reminds me of the times I spent with Charles. RIP

Do you know why he was living off booze in the end?
he was just a far gone alcoholic,my first wife’s sister did this too…it’s the last laugh from the dark side that they die so hard.

Im sorry to hear that. I lost my friend and the only neighbor I hung out with in 2020. She was also an alcoholic. We had good times. I was the one that found her body as I had keys to her place to check on her. She told me shortly before she died that her mother and two other people faces kinda appeared on her wall and they had a conversation or something. Kinda crazy like it was her time or about time. She was a cool lady though and one of the few people I’d call a friend these days.
