My drinking buddy died

As you maybe aware - i spend far too much unhealthy time down my local bar. Its where my support network is - and the CMHT know that so they cut me some slack as regards to the guiness i consume. But my mate died last night. He was 80 years old - but could easily do ten pints and helped me alot financially.

Know he was just a drinking buddy - but i dont know what to feel.
Just one of those things i guess. Just wanted to share. Ill attend the wake - and nick his chair he always had by the heater lol.

I just want to say I’m sorry for your loss @Naarai. :frowning:

Are you going to be okay?

Thank you all - would have replied sooner but we were having a whip round in the bar for his wake. And i will be fine. He wasnt backward in coming foreward and knew his time was up soon anyway, Landlady told me he put £500 behind the bar for us lot to have a drink in his honour anyway!

Were gonna bung a plaque near his seat - he was drinking there 45 years - long before i turned up.

Thanks for your well wishes. Comes to us all in the end eh?
He will get a good send off.
Cheers Rogx
