My mum used to be a childminder which kind of put me off having children. I am not regretting NOT having them, but it still got me thinking, I wouldn’t regret HAVING them either. A lot of people tell me I would make a good mum, one of my managers told me I have a motherly figure lol, but I don’t feel I have those instincts to be a mother. If I had them though, maybe I would feel differently.

yeah i know someone who was a foster parent before. and not only background checks, but also full medical evaluation. and also an interview. and u also have to have a job. u are not allowed to not work and foster because the foster care money isnt supposed to be your job.

My spouse is a defender of the foster care system. He says the stereotype that foster parents are bad is completely wrong. Most are good

I don’t think I’ve ever had a “motherly figure” I love my own children to death but I’m afraid I find others kids annoying. Which is fine cos they probably find mine annoying

Ive said it before. I absolutely adore little ones. But with my history of alcoholism and the MI - i would have the child services sniffing around. Anyway, im 50 in October.
Will always look after little Dumplings, bless them. So long as they go home at the end of the night lol.
Im partly qualified in child minding anyway i might add!

My advice would be not to plan anything. If you do it was ment to be. If not don’t be to disappointed.
