My problem was being religid

that’s to say religious and rigid. How much of my social discomfort is caused by being religid?

Some people who are religious are very social. I think that Unitarians in particular really dig hanging out and drinking coffee with people no matter what religion they have. Relaxing would probably help a lot I agree.

Being social is especially hard for me after years of suffering from uncomfortable delusions and voices compounded by medications that can cause avolition. But I have made great progress, going from homelessness to reconnecting with family and friends. I even managed to hang out with a group of old friends for about a week this past summer. But it took many years of effort to get there, I was diagnosed in the hospital in 2008 after about a decade of suffering.

There’s the old joke: What do you get what you cross a Jehovah’s Witness with a Unitarian?

You get someone who comes to your door, doesn’t know why but wants to talk about it.

That’s pretty accurate.

hahahahahahaha…priceless

Athiemust: That’s to say: You must become an atheist.

I’m pretty rigid without being religious. I doubt if I’ll ever change.
