My pdoc says

My pdoc says he’s supportive of the idea of trying to get pregnant. He asked if the situation with my nephew has made me not want to have children or want them more. I responded with “I realized I want a child more than anything” he said I’d have to come off meds and I said I have an obgyn who’s willing to keep me on meds but for the ingrezza (yes I’ve talked to an obgyn about this) the pdoc said he wants to talk to this obgyn to decide how to start this next journey in my life… I know some may be against me getting pregnant but I’m trying to do this right. Send me good vibes and high hopes

I’m not against you having children, just in my own personal opinion- I HIGHLY recommend you stay on meds…. Unless of coarse it’s an AP that is known to cause issues, then it would be wise to switch…

Just my 2 cents.

Thats exciting! Good luck! Ive had two kids since i was diagnosed and i stayed on most of my meds during the pregnancy. I did not breastfeed so i could go back on my meds and remain stable during the crazy hormone changes after giving birth. My daughters are 9 and 5, and are doing great. We have a happy household and im mostly stable with my meds. So it can be done!!! I wish you all the luck in the world and hope you have a great journey!!
