My hip has seized up, has this happened to anyone else

My right hip is painful and seizes up since yesterday when i moved living room furniture about.
Took a cocodamal painkiller but im in bed can barely move today. Ive been forcing myself to get up and walk etc but tonight its getting worse
Has anyone else had this? How long does it last?

One time my hip got messed up when I was thrown in a Judo match. It was hard to walk. I could hardly do anything. Oddly enough, doing “plyometrics” got me right out of it. I would strongly caution against doing that, because it might make you worse, but it sure helped me. If you do want to try it, go at it slow.

I am glad you feel better. Probabbly is best not to move furniture around.
