I was at the VA about 10 days ago seeing my therapist when my girlfriend fell down trying to stand up after sitting in a chair for 45 minutes (I was in a different section so I didn’t see it happen). She told me her foot “fell asleep,” and her ankle twisted while wearing chunky heels.
Well, we found out today that her left foot is broken, so she has to wear a ‘boot’ for the next 30 days.
This is when the love kicks in (I’m taking care of her).
The love sure does kick in like this!
I feel after sitting for a long time too… but that was a long time ago and luckily I didn’t break anything… just felt silly hahahahahahah

Heels are a real hazard,
I’ve taken more than a few terrible falls on those things,
Once had to go to the ER.
Hope she feels better soon and isn’t too miserable in the boot!
