My generic haldol brand changed at Walmart

Noticed on day one that I felt a little squirrely. Anyone else have issues with different brands

Hey, I’m a long time lurker but started an account to share my experience with this. Several years back my drug store switched my generic brand and I had been stable up until then but my mental health deteriorated rapidly. I went to see my doctor and mentioned to him about how the pills looked different and he was obviously annoyed that they had changed brands without consulting anyone. He wrote me a letter to give to the pharmacy specifying that I needed the APO brand and ever since then they’ve ordered it in for me. A little while after this incident I saw a news report about how the same thing was happening to people with autism and they were becoming very ill as well. Anyway, I’d be very cautious because it could turn into a serious issue. Wishing you all the best.

Yes thanks for the response I’ve been debating if I want to pay for more pills or take the chance. The pharmacist seems to say there all the same. My pdoc was out but the receptionist says it happens, he’ll be in tomorrow think I’ll be safe and go with the original brand, thanks again.
