I collect gemstones. Unfortunately, I can’t afford any now and only have three. :confused: When I start working, I will buy gemstones and then build my collection! :grinning: These are on my wish list. Aren’t they beautiful? :heart_eyes:

What is your birthstone?

When I worked for a jewelry store, we had such pretty jewelry with moonstone (some precious stone) called moonstone, they were magical.

If I remember correctly, my birthstone is Opal and I had a friend from Goa who got me a necklace once.

I had never heard of birthstones before, but apparently mine are opal and tourmaline! I really like tourmalines too. I will add it to my wish list! :heart_eyes:

No, I’ve never had a stone polisher. :thinking:
But I found a big quartz crystal once. It looked a bit like the one on the right in this picture:

It was almost half the size of my hand.

I met a guy who was into gold nuggets and bought them on eBay. I bet gems can be bought there too. My only hope is you have a way to buy at a fair price so reselling isn’t a money loser.

Yes, I’ve Googled tanzanite a few times. I would love to own one. They have a really nice and deep hue. I want one of the darker ones. But I’m going to start with a sapphire and an aquamarine. 2 of my 3 gemstones are already blue, so I should spice up my modest collection with some new colors before buying more blue ones. :smile:

The purple one on the left is amazing! :open_mouth:

I read they can change color pretty drastically in different lights. Saw some pictures too. Pretty cool! :blush:
