Whooooaaaa. Is that a maturity thing?? Why did it change colors? Is it permanent or temporary??

It’s permanent. From what I understand they change colors when they’re happier. They’re sad in those little cups

Being stuck in a tiny container is no way to live.

Hmm. . .

I Once Read An Eternal Scroll Given To Me By A Wise Olde Man.

When I Was Thinking About Picking Up Some Goldfish. He Said, ‘Read It Carefully’.

I Held The Book Confused. ‘What Does It Mean’?, I Said. He Laughed, ‘It’s The Pot Of Gold At The End Of The Rainbow’. I Opened The Book, ‘Oh!, Goldfish, I See’.

I Dare Not Tell You What It Said About Rainbows, Gold, And Starry Skies.

Let’s Jus Say, It’s A Beautiful Thing.

But!, You Couldn’t Handle It.

That’s a beautiful fish. It looks like she is doing much better in her new home.:slightly_smiling_face:

Actually bettas is become more stressfull on bigger tanks .thats why they keep them in small tanks

Not true. They’re much happier in 1 gallon to 5 gallons. I’ve raised many and they’re always healthier in bigger tanks.

Betta Fish Don’t Need a Lot of Space

Perhaps the most popular myth is that bettas can live in small bowls. The opposite is true: Betta fish need a tank that’s at least 5 gallons (19 liters), and 10 gallons (38 liters) is better. The origin behind this persistent myth is uncertain, but may come from the fact that bettas are often sold in small containers, and because they have some ability to breathe out of the water.

But bettas can be stressed if they’re housed in close quarters, especially if they share space with fish perceived as rivals — for small tanks mean there’s nowhere to hide. Even when housed with fish they get along with, they still need places to escape when they don’t feel like socializing.

But while the tank should be spacious, it shouldn’t be too deep, as bettas swim back and forth, not up and down

It’s not even tanks at petco and petsmart. They keep them in tiny cups.

My betta is in a 3 gallon tank and is much happier. That’s why her colors are brighter

It’s fun to get a female. You tape half a Styrofoam cup to the top of the water, floating on top, and the boy will blow a bubble nest. It’s cute to see them do the mating dance.

My fish is male but she was transgender colors initially so I say she’s trans lol. I’ve seen those bubble nests they’re cute

I had a red male and a blue male. I got them each a female and they were very happy. It’s not often you find females for sale at Walmart.
