My father has the covid virus. He already got vaccinated. Therefore I am nervous now. I am afraid he is going to die soon.

People who were vaccinated have a much higher survival rate.

I hope your dad has a mild case and recovers quickly. The vaccination typically protects very well against getting severe covid.

My parents both got it. Mom was vaccinated and she just felt like she had a cold. My Dad wasn’t fully vaccinated and it killed him.
It’s still scary but he should be okay. My mom didn’t even have to go to the hospital. Just quarantined herself for 10 or 14 days. Don’t remember which. She is fine now.
Dad had COPD. He really should have gotten the shots.

I’m vaccinated and caught it. Was pretty mild. Like an annoying cold with extra symptoms that were annoying. It went away pretty quickly.

Don’t worry too much if he’s vaccinated. I had covid last year and I survived so its possible even without being vaccinated.

Jake it’s totally understandable that you are scared. Covid-19 is very serious and we’ve been hearing a lot of horrible stories about it. But in the news they say that if you are vaccinated the chances of having a mild case are very high. Almost all of the people dying are not vaccinated. So be a little hopeful.
Now are you vaccinated? Even if you are, steer clear. And wash your hands lots.
I hope your father feels better soon and you can relax a little.

Oh @Jake, so sorry to hear this. I hope he gets well soon and as the others have said, that his case might be mild since he had the vaccine 
My father is better now. It looks like he is going to get healed.

Yes, I live with him. I haven’t been vaccinated. I am going to get checked out tomorrow if I have covid or not.
