The ex that broke my daughter’s arm that made me lose her finally pled guilty to a class b felony and ONLY got 6 years probation PROBATION! IDC how long it is probation alone is NOT enough for his crime! He hurt a 22 DAY OLD BABY!!! He RUINED my life and all he gets is PROBATION!!! That’s NOT justice that’s nothing!!!
thats terrible atleast hes on ice for the next six years and cant step out of line

Sometimes cops will do it that way because the penalty for breaking probation can be written as being much harsher than his sentence would be, and now he’s already pled guilty so he can’t contest the sentence if he breaks probation.

Not saying it’s right or fair, but if he’s likely to break probation, now they can really get him because he’s already admitted he did it.

@Ninjastar he don’t do drugs he just drinks and abuses but he don’t like to work or stay in the same area for long so maybe he’ll miss meeting with the probation officer and get out in the slammer

sorry to hear, sometimes DHS does services for bad parenting, and they won’t haul you away, even despite injury to a child. Phil’s son broke his very young daughter’s leg by throwing her up in the air. He had to do classes. He was on meth at the time. Not sure how that stands right now, but he got rehab too.
Alcohol is a drug. He’s still a convicted felon, and he doesn’t sound too smart so he’ll probably be in jail sooner or later. Just stay away from him and protect yourself and your child.

not so sure. Is there another man in the picture? kids need both parents. My kids lost out, from abuse to me.

@Daze she got adopted because there was no way a girl that just tried suicide, lost her car, and job would win. I know the lady that adopted her and it’s an open adoption and she’s single. On another note from the age of 10 my mom was a single parent to me and my brother with no male in the house hold, so in my opinion it don’t take both parents it just takes one strong parent

totally. I never had a man here, helping me raise my kids. My mom did though, and saved us, my step dad. Open adoption sounds nice, and much easier on you. I never had inclination to suicide, had too much to do, two disabled kids, working full time and part time. Maybe you need more inspiration in your life.

@doing-fine-thanks I know alcohol is a drug and I know he’ll end up in jail at some point. My daughter is adopted to a good woman I know and it’s open so I’ll still get to see her… Funny thing is when I signed over my rights he did the same.
