I picked him up from my husband’s ex’s house and he’s not himself at all. We watch her dog when she travels so she watched ours. Anyway, he’s super quiet. Didn’t even bark when the pizza guy knocked. I’m worried.

Hopefully, he’s just nervous because of being “shuffled around”. My dog has bad separation anxiety, likely because we’re his third or possibly fourth owners! We got him when he was 3 years old.
He took a long time, almost a year, to warm up to us and get comfortable. I think he was scared that our home was temporary, like how he has gone through so many owners.
He’s 6 years old now.
Anyway, I’m not saying your dog has the same exact situation. But maybe he’s got separation anxiety? You being gone might have confused him. Maybe he just needs a couple of days to feel comfortable again?

@Wave @Blossom i hope he’s back to himself within a few days. If not, I’ll really start to worry. But in the meantime, I’m showering him with kisses and love.
