He fell and hit his head. Little did we know it caused a huge aneurism and it’s inoperable. We are at the hospital. He is unconscious. Your prayers and good thoughts are appreciated. He’s the greatest man I know.

Yeah my Dad’s death was what will probably be the second toughest moment of my life (my Mom is still living.). I hope your Dad goes peacefully and your family remains as united as it can be. I also will tell you that if you haven’t already make plans to make it on your own. And prepare for trouble a year from now because a year after such an event can cause problems as I learned from my own experience. Prayers to you and your family.

shine7, my condolences. I know it sounds as if I am heartless at times. That is not so. I know without a doubt in my heart, your father has love for you. Throughout his life, he has been missing in moments when you felt you needed him, much like he to his father, you might have at some point reminded him of your grandfather’s brother, nonethelesser, guidelines or not, well wishing is not all there is to it. I myself refuse to leave my aging father’s side so easily, I will not leave so easily, I even change the meaning to made up words, I tell him, “Prohibidado caer se.” If I can, whilst I am able to walk by his side, I will catch him, and of I fall, then I will fall before him, be a cushion if not a mattress, I shall soften his fall.
