He had one in 2014 and didn’t know it. Then he had a tiny one in his sleep. Then the one Monday. They put a stint in one of his arteries. I’ve been visiting. I’m still worried.
He has to quit smoking.
How do I ignore the idiots upstairs? I’m really ■■■■■■■ pissed. At myself.

Sorry to hear about your dad @roxanna. It sounds like they caught it in time and got the stint in.
You’re right though, your dad really should quit smoking. All you can do is encourage him to quit smoking, but ultimately it’s his choice.
This has got to be stressful for you. How are you holding up?
I’m really sorry about your dad. Heart attacks are scary. My husband had one a couple of years ago and had a double bypass. I live in fear that he will have another. I love him too much to lose him. Are you and your dad close?
There’s a lot of hope for heart patients now. I’m reminded of a woman, mother of 5. who had a heart attack in the 50’s and the last I heard she was alive and kicking at age 107. So, keep your chin up.
Bless your heart - I know i dont really know you, but sometimes found myself worrying about you at night, hope your dads ok - and more importantly i hope your meds are working and your more stable. Seen many of your posts in the past - and do wonder how your coping, Rog.
I go see him everyday. I’m trying to quit worrying about neighbors.im afraid I’ll start yelling at them.
When I was a baby I was close to him. I’m trying to think positive.
It’s really good that you’re visiting your dad daily. Having loving family members around him will really help his recovery. You’re a very good daughter @roxanna 
His neighbor friends that can get out visit him. His brother and pastor visit. I made him laugh a few times. He doesn’t like the food lol.

My Dad has also had 3 heart attacks. It is scary indeed… Hope your dad pulls through and quits smoking…
How long will he be in the hospital? I’m glad you’re able to go visit him. Hopefully it’s a quick recovery.
They have to get rid of the fluid around his lungs. This weekend maybe. I’m not mad at him anymore. I’m mad at myself. They keep an eye on him.

Why are you mad at yourself? There’s nothing you could have done to prevent this.
