The CTO and forced injections of Flupentixol are doing me great harm but I will have to take them for another year.
Flupentixol gives akathisia and high prolactin it’s not nice.
Ask for something to counteract both of those side effects.

Triple magnesium helped me with akathisia from Geodon.
I’ve been on a CTO since 2013 with monthly forced injections. Extended every year for another year. Had my door kicked down a few times by the police for non-compliance. I’m on paliperidone which works very good for me. Paliperidone is first generation, Flupentixol is second generation.
Think it’s the other way round (Flupentixol is the first generation).
That’s crazy that police kicked down your door, totally unnecessary.
I hate being on CTO and it’s crazy that I may be on it for
years.

That’s horrible that you have to go through that. Freedom to choose what is done to our own bodies should include everyone. We shouldn’t be excluded because we’re sick.
You also have obvious substance abuse issues so they are less likely to tolerate non-compliance where you’re concerned. Being honest.

I agree with the substance abuse @shutterbug especially alcohol but I’ve never become unwell on that alone. I think @IceCat since you’ve been on a section 3 you should get support in the community on section 117 aftercare like I do which for me has been a blessing for me maintaining being well. Without my 21 hours a week with support workers coming in I wouldn’t of coped.
and @IceCat I’ll be honest its hard to be put on a CTO because clinicians thats the last option so I feel you must need it.

This is probably a dumb question but what does a person do to need forced injections?
refuse meds basically.
In the US, something that puts you in front of a judge will do it. You can refuse meds in the US.
