My 19 year old cat is sick

And honestly i cant do much about it. Shes 19 and had a good long life if she does go but im going to be feeding her lots of wet food and making sure she drinks water. Im just getting stressed that my two old animals are going downhill together

Yeah, that’s tough. My elderly dog has kidney disease.

Some people say to get a puppy/kitten before the elderly one dies to help with the loss.

I’m not sure what’s best. But I really feel for you

I have other animals and they definitely help with the thought of losing one

I’m sorry for you and your cat. losing a lifetime friend is very hard.
my cat was 17 when I put her down. she had a heart disease, asthma and thyroid problems. she was on many medications and she didn’t want to take one of the meds at all. I had to let her go.

I have had no remorse of putting her to sleep. I knew the time was come. she was sick and life was not as good to her as it was earlier. a cat’s owner knows when it is time. I wish you strength to make the difficult decision when it is time.

I was left with no pets and i has been nearly 3 years my cat passed. I still think of her every single day. she was so dear to me. I am still not able to get a new cat… my heart is not ready yet.
