Musical instruments thread

Hey, I had a Blast on my Keyboard tonight which is very rare bc it is big and bulky but i still would love to learn more about how to play, I was just experimenting with it using one hand and both, I’m still a total beginner though but it was fun.

I also made progress with a beat on my music software.

The guitar i hired 6 months ago is still in my car ready to be handed back…i guess guitar just isn’t my thing anymore.

And i have asked my radio station if i can learn how to use their Pioneer Pro DJ Mixing device

were you any good?

I like guitar, i would love to play but the appeal has gone now, i had problems with my mic and it wasn’t recording properly so it kinda killed it for me.

I’ve tried a few times to learn but failed

I used to randomly get rental instruments to satisfy my curiosity. I only remember a few. Also that I dislike reed instruments. How many keys is your keyboard? My daughter wants one, but she’s waiting patiently.

I have 88keys weighted, its a pretty good one cost £500 a few years ago Kawai is the brand,

Its just a bit big and heavy and i haven’t much room for it but its got a folding stand, its more of a pro level touring keyboard,

Idk if less keys would be better for a beginner or some kind of synth,

My neighbour is going to ask her friend if he could teach me, i want to learn chords and how to use 2 hands.
