My husband accepted a very generous, once in a lifetime offer in Washington State.
He turned in his resignation at his current job, and is just going to be enjoying his time until he starts his new job in February.
We’ve got a pretty decent plan of attack going.
I’m going to have to do most the actual work in the house.
And be here almost a full month by myself.
But by March everything should be getting settled in a new house and back into a routine.
I was on the forum during my last move and my insane move before that.
They were both just horrific shitshows.
We’re not doing that again.
Things are going to move fast from here.
I’m really hoping this change of scenery and job for my husband will improve several issues for us.
I think it will.
Anyway, may the moving gods truly be with us this time.

Good luck with moving. It can be stressful and much work but it seems you got this.

Congrats and I hope the move goes smoothly
shewee…sounds like a lot…hope everything goes well.
Good luck. Can’t wait to see your beautiful new place in Washington, if you choose to show us. I’m sure you’ll find a special spot
The house I was going to call about and try to get was taken off the market last night.
Not cool.
I really liked that house.
And it was under budget.
We’ll see what else I can find.

Congratulations and good luck on the move.
Congratulations, again!
Only slightly jealous you’ll be in the PNW. Hope you enjoy it

Best of luck with it all!
I hope this starts a new, happy, and prosperous chapter in your life.
I don’t envy the work you’ll have to do to pack and unpack. Ugh!
But I think it’s totally worth it to get a fresh start.
I’m here if you need to vent your frustrations.
Good luck!
