Movie Review - Godzilla minus one

OMG.

So I looked on rotten tomatoes to try to find a movie that we both had not seen that had good reviews and I we decided to choose between the new Top Gun and Godzilla minus one.

Top Gun did not sound very good to us despite the good reviews, so We went with Godzilla.

OMG. This is perhaps the slowest movie I have watched in decades. We watched a lot of the boring but about mid way through we had to start fast forwarding (which I never do, I always watch all the way through. Especially something we paid for) to the action parts. The action parts were ok but like 90 percent of the movie is a not-very-interesting drama.

So yeah…big thumbs down from me(us) :-1:

PS. We watched almost half yesterday and had to finish it tonight.

If you don’t like slow burns then don’t go anywhere near “The Green Knight” or “The Northman”. Minus 1 makes those movies look fast. Also minus 1 was my favorite Godzilla movie in years but I see what you’re saying. I saw it in theaters which kinda makes slow movies less slow.

Is there a new Top Gun movie? I had no idea. I thought there was nothing left for Maverick to prove.

I loved Godzilla Minus One. I agree it was slow paced, but man I enjoyed the hell out of it.
