I’ve heard one of those fast food burgers would still be good a year after it was purchased if you left it on the kitchen counter unprotected due to the preservatives. So no this doesn’t ruin it for me.

My old doctor had a McDonald’s burger and fries sitting on the counter from three years previously, and it still hadn’t rotted at all. It was enough to make me never eat McDonald’s again.
