That’s Remeron right? I was given that for sleep. Didn’t make me sleepy. Killed my libido and made me get out of bed and raid the refrigerator.

I hated that stuff. Got off of it quickly.

Hey thanks for your kind words

i ve been reading about aspirin for negative symptoms is it dangerous?

ive read 81 mg twice daily i dont know how much that is

That’s not a high dose, but long term, asprin can cause stomach problems. It also thins the blood, so it should not be taken with blood thinners.

From what I’ve read, asprin was only helpful for a few months, then similar to placebo.

Ask your doctor if it’s safe for you.

I have been taking pramipexole for many years for my RLS that is caused By one AP med, works for me …

So far I’m taking Vraylar and Zoloft, and Vraylar has been used for Bipolar and Schizophrenia, it also seems to work for depression too.
However, of course the risk is depending on the person themselves, some people may not tolerate it well.
The only drawback is gastrointestinal issues, such as nausea and indigestion, but aside from that it’s been working for me on motivation and mood as well as keeping the psychosis at bay.
One other drawback is the cost, but I think doctors may have a way for patients to obtain it for cheap, or recommend a way to obtain it for a low cost.

Hi. I have starter taking mirtazapine 2 months ago in dosage 15 mg/day. What do you mean when you say “low dosages are more sedative” ? It’s less sedating if I take higher dosage? What dosage do you take?

Best regards

It depends on the individual when mirtazapine is sedating or activating. Most people who use it just for sleep take a low dose of mirtazapine (for some people taking only 3,25, 7,50mg or 15mg is enough) others (like me) take 30mg to get a good night rest. On 45mg it’s also activating for me. Has to do with it’s mechanism of action on brainreceptors.

And no @jeroenp mirtazapine does not affect negative symptoms. I like it like as an antidepressant though, it’s a very clean drug for me, it helps me sleep, stops racing thoughts, it does it’s job quite fairly as an antidepressant and I’m not sedated when I’m awake. And I think it is also positively tested against akathisia caused by antipsychotics (for 1 in 4/5 patients)
