Merry Christmas to Russia…it’s 12:12 am January 7th in Vladivostok, eastern Russia…
January 7th is the traditional Orthodox Russian Christmas, for those who don’t know…
During this time in the past there have been the great number of Russian visitors in Finland, but not in this year because ruble has fallen and so it has become more expensive for Russians to visit and they choose some Russia’s holiday locations at this time.
They do that in Alaska too, but some people visit Russia as well, and they also celebrate the 7th there…doing the candlelight thing at the Orthodox churches, etc…
I saw them do that here…
Google.ru has a cute vid on its page with a Christmas theme this morning…
Funny, coldest day of year here...Siberia must have sent us some of it's weather as a Christmas present...Brrr...LOL
