I’ve been helping clean out my father in law’s bedroom for a few hours and I’m mentally exhausted. I feel overwhelmed by all the accumulation over the past 40 years. That’s how long ago he moved in. But having to decide on what to keep, what to donate, and what to throw away is exhausting for some reason.

That’s totally understandable. It’s a hard task. I remember it from when my Mother died. And my Mother was a hoarder. You’ll get through this soon enough. Hang in there.

I just wish there wasn’t so much stuff. The whole house is like this.

Oh no! Can you order big dumpsters and fill them up? That’s what we did.
We have to check with the HOA to see if we can first, or if it has to be a small size
