The basics for me were that I get so bored that I eat all the snacks there. And have seconds for every meal. And buy food on my allowances outside the grounds. It is just a breeding ground to get fat.
You can only play so much pool before you get so bored of it you want to jam a pool cue in your eye and swallow the chalk just so you’re doing something different.
Lol were you in western state? That’s really the only one I’ve been in besides one time in Williamsburg. I don’t remember ever breaking up a fight tho, but my name is Dominic.
I got so hungry I started saving hot sauce packets and keeping them in my room to snack on at night lol

I understand man, you got to do what you got to do. this hospital was located in essex county in nj, the classes the were pretty good but the food suck ass. also we had to wake up early at 6am with blinding lights i hated that experience. I wish i never go back there.
Nice to meet u Dominic. Nah I was in New York a hospital called 4 winds. This guy was originally from Samoa but moved to San Diego. He was in ny because he was in the military. I think he went to West Point.

I was hospitalised three times in state funded hospitals. Food was good, there were activities for us to do such as playing pool or video games. Some of the patients were absolutely nuts! One guy went to my dorm and decided to try on my clothes for himself
The last time I was hospitalised I was placed in a private hospital. It’s a completely different league. Excellent food and the other patients all had mild symptoms so nothing crazy. They had a rule that you couldnt enter the dining area in pyjamas or trackpants
In as few words as possible: Public hospitals like federal (VA), state and county? All bad. Private hospitals? Good but prohibitively expensive.

I was in hospital 11 times.
Two private hospitals which was like a hotel so good. Lots of activities and excellent food.
Two govt psych hospitals - two therapy wards not so bad, ok food, a few activities, allowed phone for an hour or two each day. Wear my own clothes.
A few locked wards, ok food, nothing to do but sit in chairs or sleep or walk in yard. Very boring. And wore uniform not my own clothes.
Two general hospitals psych ward was the worst - one room with a few beds, nothing to do, mind numbing boredom.
All in all, hospital was scary, but I felt safe from myself, and I could rest. Just very boring most wards.
When I was in the hospital a girl that liked me told me the same thing. She said she was a vampire angel and she would tell me which people were evil and which were good lol
