Medication

Do you take your medication and believe it works to save face or does your medication actually work?

It works. And probably, if you don’t think it works, that’s because you lack insight. Some people are treatment resistant and many more have low insight into their illness.

My meds work. Not perfectly. But they help. I’m grateful

My meds help a lot. They don’t totally eliminate everything but nothing ever has. I am at a point where I am sort of stable though. So that’s good.

They work well, I was told that I won’t be able to live a normal life. My meds worked for me and now I live a pretty normal life. Olanzapine was the reason I got insight into my illness

I still have symptoms of positive and negative. I’m pretty sure I have SZA. I’m currently depressed and had cognitive symptoms. My symptoms of DP/DR were pretty disturbing and disabling. My vision and sensations changed so much I thought nothing was real. I was really dissociated. Supplements have helped a lot.

My medication helps me.

I am thankful for our medication.

Yes, it works well for me. Taking medication to “save face” would be quite strange, especially considering the side effects. I do not take it because I like to, or because I want to. I take it because I have no choice.

I changed my medication from a weekly depotinjection to a pill a day. I feel more independent as i don’t have to get the injection anymore.

My medication works. The years I was without medication I used to cry so much because I was afraid of my perceptions, my voices were really agresive and cruel and I used to suffer from paranoia. With medication my voices don’t dissapear, but they aren’t cruel. They don’t talk to me. They are singing all the time.

I take my meds but supposedly I’m still delusional. Some things are better though.
