Medical condition for poor reading comprehension

I have the reading comprehension of a 10 year old. It really is upsetting.

Is there a medical condition for this. I’m not complaining because I was some great reader and suddenly lost it. It’s always been bad. I’m just really unsure why it’s so bad.

Does this mean are problems are dyslexia?

Dyslexia is pretty common. It could be something else, but I would check with your doctor.

My reading problems come and go. I think it’s the illness or the meds. I’m not sure. Meds block acetylcholine.

I’ve definitely declined in my reading abilities, but have seen other abilities wax and wane. Overall, I’m in a hole. I’m trying to improve steadily.
