Is this a thing. Does anyone else do this? If I push my required dose time every so many days or even for 6 hours at min. I find it freshens things up for me. I have a renewed sense of life and happiness. I have a certain spryness about me. Anyone else do this?
I have learned acceptance now. I used to try messing with my meds, but it always ends up badly. Not even the doctor can. It has to stay on the max allowed. Anything less just doesn’t work for me.
The only drug where I didn’t take the highest dose was Haldol, but that stuff was really strong.
I’m stable and that is same meds, same time, Same dose. I like the regularity and the end result is decent. I know if I miss my morning pills. Effexor withdrawal is quick and not much fun but I can miss zyprexa at night if I’m out or something. Not often.
I don’t necessarily seeing it as a good thing. Most drugs are in your system for like 24 hours. Not sure what benefit you’d get but more power to you.
Sometimes I forget to take my sertraline but I don’t do it on purpose. I’ve never heard of medication fasting either and it doesn’t seem like a good idea.
I forgot to order sertraline the other week and went a weekend without it and was feeling a bit low come the Monday.
I would also have to skip an entire months medication cause I’m on paliperidone depot. Hmmm doesn’t seem like a good idea.
I skip, but I’m finding out I relapse, then the relapse happen when I stay consistent. Not good to skip because it makes you worse in the long run. I can’t skip the injection though and that has even made me more physically healthy too not dealing with AP withdrawals, they suck
