i thought it would be a good idea to get us a bunch of chicken pot pies last shopping trip…I went with banquet mega pies because that’s what Angie wanted…when she ate one of them she said they were way too salty…I just now looked at the package and one pie had 67% of your daily sodium…why would banquet do that? perhaps they don’t want to sell a lot of them so they put so much sodium in them? like I said, I 'm thinking too much.
Can you make homemade ? I think they’re better
I’ve got a banquet pot pie cooling in the microwave as we speak.
I’m going to eat less of them because every now and then there’s a hard bit in the meat. Marie Callendar makes a better pot pie but costs three times as much.
I didn’t really check the nutritional facts but they are kinda salty. Gotta eat all the crust too if you wanna totally finish it.
yes I didn’t want banquet so I got us also some Marie Callender pot pies too…now Marie doesn’t mess anything up and they were delicious…my only bummer is that I bought about four of those mega pies…I suppose Angie will eat them because she won’t waste food…but I want to throw them out…
Yeah I’m concerned about the sodium content of certain foods.
This instant ramen noodle soup mix I bought had over 1000mg of sodium in it.
I was concerned but ate it anyway.
I love chicken pot pie …love the pies and the sauce…mmmm
You could get a recipe off the internet for chicken pot pie, nothing is secret here, the people who know the most ways say the most about it.
I like Marie Callender’s chicken pot pies but I bought so many of them lately that I am going without them for a spell.
I once had a pie making machine.
You put puff pastry in the holes and pour in filling .put pastry lid on.close and ten minutes or so.
They were delicious and it was s really good machine.
My bf loves curry mince pies.
I buy a frozen chicken curry pie from a brand called emmelie something…
It’s great and a easy dinner.
i use to like eating them a lot. then i ate too many.
those first two bites still taste good but after that i’m done.
the high sodium content is to make you retain water and eat less but i ate two at a time. it’s kinda like the idea behind corn starch.
banquet came out with a few breakfast pot pies and i had to try one. that sausage and gravy one is pretty good. a lil bland but pretty good.
