They also use microdoses of psilocybin to treat depression and addiction. These doses do not give a high. And psilocybin has no hallucinogenic effects when you are on most antipsychotic drugs. Itā€™s a legit treatment, but they need to do more research on it.

Correct I once ate mushrooms while on APs and I didnā€™t hallucinate ate all.

The AP blocks it out completely

I once took lsd while I was on Haldol, and it had no effect. It was pretty strong acid, too.

I am not sure the antidepressant properties of lsd, psilocybin or ketamine would work on a brain under APs. From what i have read it is the psychedelic, hallucinatory experience that has a transformative effect on the brain.

I would only use mainstream treatments, i.e. what a doctor would recommend.

Me too. But in the close future psychedelics are going to be the new and improved approved treatment to treat depression.
