I think the brain energy during a psychotic state is the same energy in a genius coming up with unique life changers forever
with in the mind and brain

All forget for a purpose I suppose!
So we can make room for more !
Meds make me forget things where other use other harmful ways to forget.
For me sz and creativity were intrinsically linked.
Seeing connections that others see disconnected
My mind created relationships that seemed to not make sense but helped me solve problems creatively an dpractically.
Thinking tangentially and see connections is a double-edged sword. Creative insights but also to the disorganized and distorted thinking.
It’s like one of the methods called depth first’ search algorithm!
One have to go to the deepest data present at hand and then trace back and compair with other results.
Where only the shortest path is the answer and the rest is disorganised or distorted path that was taken 
It’s a Hollywood cliche, the crazy persons room with newspaper clippings, drawings and scrawl stuck to the walls all linked together with pieces of string. Same cliche as when a detective is solving a serial killer case.
