Yep… it’s everywhere now. I’m running into that with game assets on my project too. Assets I bought years ago that are perfectly usable do t work with the latest versions of unity. They are coming out with new versions of stuff like once a year now…

What would happen if you no longer updated your PC? Does anybody know?

I remember after they stopped making security updates back on win xp(I think it was) I got malware in no time, even though I wasn’t going to dodgy sites.

Ubuntu 24.10 which is a intern Linux computer operating system was just released to the general public a few days ago. I am quite sure those Microsoft Windows 10 PCs/Laptops could operate on Ubuntu 24.10 and extend the useful life of those computers.

I have a feeling MS will extend it by a year.

Isn’t 11 still free for 10 users? I’m gonna keep 10 as long as possible because 11 most certainly will be a downgrade.

The main problem is windows 11 won’t run on a lot of PCs.

Huh. I wonder if it’s a resource hog. Some Operating systems are, Vista was terrible for that back in the day, just paralyzed a good chunk of your RAM.
