At the start of this year I feel kind of lost now that the holidays are all over…? I guess I’m a bit depressed because I know how hard it is going to be for Angie to get another job. we didn’t get the unemployment benefits because her boss lied about her being warned that she could lose her job…their word against hers…sigh…
we have enough money to get by this month without her help so I feel happy about that…I just need to exercise or something I guess.
I hate that she can’t get unemployment,
But in a lot of states, they always side with the employer.
She’ll find something new, it may take the month, but she’ll get it.

I feel for yah, @jukebox. It’s awful to have too much month and not enough money, I know from experience.

My mom makes a lot of money doing housekeeping for individual families, watching old people on night shifts, etc. All word of mouth jobs. It has now reached a point where she makes up to $5,000 per month all cash, though she gets $3000 of it for just checking up on an empty house once a month. She barely works. Housekeeping is not for the old though. I hate seeing old people struggling at jobs like these…
