My case manager went with me to the senior apartment building to apply. The manager reviewed my application and everything looked good. She has to do a background check on me and verify with my current landlord I have been here for twelve years. Also I have to have my doctor fill out a questionnaire on my physical and mental health and state I am able to live independently. I don’t know if all this can be done by October 1st.

Anyway, I don’t see any problems, so I’m 99% sure I’m moving out of the dump I currently live in. I’m excited!

My case manager said I don’t have to hire a moving company. The psychiatric clinic would move me. They do this for clients.

They have a pickup. The employees that help I won’t have to pay, but clients who volunteer, I’ll have to offer them something.
