So I have a minion of my own: not as clean cut sewing as you’d get from a store-bought stuffed minion but hey I put a lot of work into him.
My next project is a stuffed Groot Doll (from Guardians of the Galaxy). Sometime this week at home, I have to finish up the lines we’re sewing for his “roots” that make up his body and I think all I have to do at my next class is sew him together and stuff him up.
Kind of reminds me more of Spongebob than a minion…Kitties been acting afraid of it so tonight I took one of his long hands and gently stroked her with it and said this our new friend Mr. Minion. After she sniffed him, she started purring so i guess that means she’s okay with Mr. Minion now.
Hey…very cool! It’s nice to be able to use your hands and some skills to make things! I can really appreciate that! I don’t do hand crafts but used to paint and have some skill with hand tools! Well done you!

I will, I finally got some brown thread to finish sewing the “vines” that make up part of his body, and Friday when we go in, I should be close to finishing him. We didn’t go last week because mom’s hand was bothering her.
Yeah, I was getting tired of making purses…and didn’t really like making a shirt. But stuffed animals are kind of fun to make.
