It’s funny. Just lately, while I’m tooling around my city and neighboring cities, I am struck by how cool I am. It’s fun. Put on an Aerosmith or Led Zeppelin CD, hang my arm out the window, check out the pretty 45-56 year old women ( maybe just sneak a little glance at the thirty year old’s, lol) and just kind of enjoy myself. Life could be much, much worse.

Do you live near Stanford?
I used to in the eighties. I was about a ten minute drive from it. I remember when the Superbowl was held in the Stanford stadium. Now I live south of there.

Not that close to Stanford,
I’m in Monterey County.
But its not that long of a drive,
And I like exploring.
Have you been to Joshua Tree?

Monterey is cool,
We have “Cannery Row” and a super good aquarium.
Lots of fancy bitches and the like.
And, yes, Joshua Tree is desert.
I was thinking about taking a trip out there,
Hike, eat trail mix, build fires, sleep in a tent,
All that.
But I can’t seem to find any reviews that talk about hiking alone though.
I was going to see if you had been, if you could tell me on a scale of 1-10 how likely it is that I’ll get murdered to death.

Getting murdered to death ain’t bad. But the cold at night will really be uncomfortable.

I’ll have my dog, he’s super snuggly, so maybe we’ll help keep each other warm.
He also looks like he’ll tear your face right off your face,
So that might help with the not getting murdered part.
I always use the buddy system with camping. Except when I was homeless, but I wouldn’t recommend that. It’s not jut about getting murdered. If you have an accident, you want someone to be able to provide first aid.

I waved at you but being cool has its priorities so I sorta forgive you. And be careful when you hang your arm out as it could get snagged by a trip wire. Believe me I knew a guy.
