told mom and dad, I want a 2 night, 3 day trip for my birthday.
I like to stay in hotels, it refreshes me.
will probably go to the smokies for my birthday in 5 months. im thinking about it already, I need to get away.

I think I am going to get let go at work. My manager scheduled me for 2 nearly 40 hour weeks in a row. I told them when I was hired i could only work 25 hour as max. I had to leave a note for the manager since he wasn’t there tonight. The head manager said in our training session that if we didn’t work what was scheduled, we would be let go. It may be a blessing or a curse. I can barely handle 25 hour weeks.

that happened to me once. I told them I wanted 25 hours a week. and they said we need you to work 40 hours until we get more help. this was after I was hired and they told me they would work me part time. I quit, I left a note with the superintendent saying it was not a fit. at a golf course.

I would just keep showing up if you can. no shame in getting fired really. lots of employers are “my way or the highway”. now I only consider union jobs.

Funny, they showed a video telling us not to join a union right at the end. It kind of reminded me of ww2 propaganda videos.

I’ve been talking to this girl and she said she wanted to meet this weekend. So I brought it up again tonight to see if she’s still on and she said something like “I might complain about my ankle hurting” but then she agreed she’d make a good hiking partner other than that. I get the feeling we’re on for this date as of now…

Well before that my last ones might have been 2009. And none ever before that. So I’m not great with ladies either. So I’m lucky to feel I find someone I vibe with well.

I have a side hustle tomorrow cleaning a cabin with my dad for some extra cash. Afterwards I’m gonna go to a tourist shop here in town to scope out the vinyl records stock.

I fried some polenta for dinner tonight. It was pretty tasty. I love how I can eat such a small portion and it really fills me up. Mmmm
