There’s a population in Indonesia. It is a lizard which grows 3 meters long. They have a venomous bite which kills after a while.
You should look up tuatara. They’re considered the closest living relative to dinosaurs, sometimes referred to as “living fossils.” I think they’re interesting little creatures. There are only two species left in existence, and both are found in the wild only in New Zealand.
