Full disclosure everyone: this is a hypothesis, not a study. That means there was no test done to determine whether a ketogenic diet actually helps psychosis.

star, Psychosis and Schizophrenia are 2 completely different things.

It does say ‘medical hypotheses’ as part of the title but I agree some may not have been able to join the dots. Thanks for adding the disclosure which makes things clearer for people.

Ketogenic diets are designed to be very low in sugar of any kind. So no, chocolate wouldn’t work. Even one small cheat, such as a single hard candy in a month, can destroy the whole diet.

Yes, this works. I am on ketogenic diet almost 7 months. I lost 30kg. I feel better mentally and recently start running.
