They say ketamine is an effective antidepressant.
Is this drug given on prescription or over-the-counter?
I used to struggle with negative thoughts too. I’ve learned to brush aside such thoughts, it gets easier with practice.
Apart from abilify, no other medicine/supplement helps me, ADs included.
Focused on building good habits, both on the outside and in the mind. Sleep hygiene, thought hygiene, speech hygiene. My thoughts used to be all over the place, now it’s much more quiet. I did lose something in the process, that I somewhat regret - my vivid imagination.
I looked into ketamine treatment but was denied because I have schizoaffective disorder. Probably for the best, but I’ve heard good results for depression when medically supervised. I wonder if it would even do anything for bipolar depression.
