Keeping motivation

I can range from doing nothing but laying around, napping, to keeping involved with interesting activities for the whole day. The big difference is motivation. To try to capture motivation I make lists of things to do. I really like having interests. I get some good ideas from reading this forum.
I think maybe getting into a strong pattern where I keep active helps. That’s what I am going to try this weekend.

Routines are good for me. I get things done. Otherwise I’ve a similar problem and I’d just waste the day or spend it playing computer games.

I plan my days the night before. It doesn’t mean I always follow or complete the plan but it’s good to have goals for the day and even if I only complete one or two of them, it’s better than nothing.
Tomorrow: grocery shopping, drop off some stuff at the homeless shelter, finish spackling the wall and maybe go for a walk or do a load of laundry.

lack of motivation is common in schizophrenic. its part of negative symptoms of schizophrenia.
all atypical antipsychotics have the ability to relief it. in my experience if you take typical antipsychotic in combination with atypical antipsychotics it will worse the negative symptoms (lack of motivation).

Lately I’ve been feeling tired. In that state it’s hard to get things done.
