I wish i had a cat :frowning:

My wife and I had 2 indoor cats. One was suited to it to some degree, while the other less so.
They were going to be drowned before my wife stepped in .

My Percy was an indoor cat. im on the waiting list for another one at the moment from the RSPCA. I wont buy privatley - cos there in it for the money. Id rather get a rescue cat - it just means waiting.

Calliope, our current kitty, has zero interest in going outdoors. I tried to take her outside in a harness last summer and she screamed the whole time. Not cried, screamed. Our previous kitty kept trying to sneak out when a door was open.

My kitty’s been going outside for about 13 years.

Like your typical teenager; out during the day, home at night.

My first cat was an indoor cat, she lived for 21 years. Later we had an outdoor cat, she had a few close calls, once we found her in a storm drain amidst rushing waters soaking and exhausted. We had to pry the bars out so she could escape. If she had fallen she would have drowned.

I mean she probably won’t live as long as an indoor cat, but she loves the outside and my grandmother’s garden, so it seems mean to keep her inside.
