I get the impression that the drug companies make quite a bit of money off psychotropic drugs. Personally, I would give them all the money I have and will have if they could make a drug that got rid of my schizophrenia.

If they submit NDA application in mid 2023, then it Might be approved in first half 2024. There are 5 phase 3 trials running and still recruiting.

Would love to know how this drug effects people. What it’s like or comparable to. I’ve heard someone who took it say it felt like Ritalin. There is also RL-007 which he started taking and he likes a lot better and feels is highly more effacious

I think, don’t hope much in an Indian company. They treat any disease in the indian context. Which is cure here not necessary to be at every where.

I actually know someone who took xanomeline but not the tropsium. Said it made him nauseous.

I just googled karxt and an article says there planning to apply for new drug application in mid 2023. This drug might come sooner then expected.

@robertc if new drug application made in mid 2023. Why you think will get approved in mid 2024? It normally takes a year for the application to go through? Damn why is everything with these test so damn slow

NDA applications average about 9 months for a decision to approve or disapprove. So first quarter of 2024 is possible.
The company is trying to issue $600 million in new stock to raise money.

So karuna therapeutics states there goona apply for new drug application fda in mid 2023. I thought this drug wasnt going to come out for like another 4 years. Looks like its going to come out sooner then expected.

It says things about pans total score and i dont really know how to interpret that. Also the drug is technically 2 drugs in one aomething called xanomeline and another called tropsium. So im wondering if its gonna be double the cost since its 2 drugs in one

Well, best wishes to this company for new drug for schizophrenia. But as I know, schizophrenia is a disease which makes resistance to any medicine. There for psychiatrist doctor change its medicine time to time for every patient.
But I am telling a different thing. Here in India Aayurveda is also a million dollar business.
