My youngest (step)daughter is going to buy her biological mom’s house from her in a few months. She has lived with us the last 10 years. She only sees her mom once a week for a couple hours.
Anyway, she works hard and I’m proud of her. We want to move but can’t because we need to keep our home for her sake. We’re hoping she can qualify for a mortgage. She’s has the means to put down a10% down payment on the house.
On the other hand, we’re nervous because it’s not a good neighborhood. But ours isn’t a lot better so hopefully she’s been raised by us well enough to know how to stay safe.
She came up with a thorough plan on how to make it work. I’m proud of her.
