It went really well, I got the numbers of people who I can reach out to if I need support. 3 days sober as of today and I feel like I’m taking control of my life

Just remember that if personalities ever become a problem for you there are probably six or seven AA groups in a town of around 35,000 people. My problem wasn’t so much personalities as the size of a group. I preferred meetings of about 12 people, sometimes less. I went to the big meetings only occasionally. But I have heard people say that they chose to go to other meetings because the personalities in one group were getting to them. Nobody will think less of you if you do look for another meeting.
