Just delusions is not psychosis?

When you are delusional, you are not living in reality, therefore, you are psychotic.

If my therapist had met me years ago, I’d be considered delusional and psychotic because of my delusions.

You can be delusional and still fully connected to reality. That is how I am every day. My delusion doesn’t come up in conversation and you would never guess, in a million years, that I was anything other than a normie. When I have become, what I call, ‘psychotic’, it is when I can NOT function in ‘this’ reality anymore and my delusion takes over. That hasn’t happened to me in over a year. I am still delusional but it is in the ‘background’.
