there’s a song by Jimi called “In 1983 a Merman I shall be” and the song goes on and talks about how man would return to the ocean to live in 1983. It was about 1978 when I started believing him and by 1983 I was in college and didn’t believe it anymore. but man, I was sooooo into Hendrix. haha
Jimi Hendrix was a third cousin of the guy who ran the first group home I was in.
Got a Jimi Hen t shirt everyone just looked at me and smiled…
that’s amazing @77nick77 I remember hearing that someone said Hendrix would call his mother and say. “mama, it’s like there’s the devil in me when I"m on stage”. stuff like that. I’ve read several books on Hendrix and I believe he was killed not O.D’d like they say.
Do you mean you think someone murdered him ? Or do you mean you think he was killed in a car accident or something?
The ambulance that picked him up wasn’t the right ambulance. The hospital’s ambulance arrived after the first ambulance picked him up. he was strapped to his back and choked on his vomit because he couldn’t turn over. Instead of someone riding in the back with Hendrix on the way to the hospital both men rode up front on the way. No one knows where the ambulance came from.
Hmm, mysterious.
When I was first learning the eectric guitar I listened to Hendrix constantly. His performance at Monterey gives me shivers up my spine - was so captivating.
The only Jimi Hendrix song I like is “fire”
Yeah, why would someone kill one of the most famous and influential people of that time anyway? It’s not like he was singing about ending war and things like that. Wierd.
Hendrix built Electric Lady Land Studio unknowingly until it was too late next to mafia headquarters. the mafia didn’t like the heat that the studio drew.
I liked electric ladyland a lot. Solid album
